My Installed Version:  
      Use the following steps to determine your installed version of ACT!:
            
              - Launch ACT!
 
              - Click Help menu, and then select About ACT!.
 
               
               
                 
               
              - The About ACT! dialog box appears. The version number appears near the top of this box.
 
             
             
            Download the ACT! Update:  
            
              - Click the following link to access the downloads area of the  act.com website. 
 
              - Enter your user information and click Log In. If you have not created an account, please create your account to continue.
 
              - Scroll down to the Latest Updates area and located the correct update for your installed version of ACT!.
 
              - Click on English and then click Download Now.
 
              - The File Download - Security Warning dialog box appears.
 
               
               
                 
               
              - Click Save. The Save As dialog box appears. Browse to your desktop, then click Save.
 
             
            Applying the Service Pack 1:  
            
              - Close ACT!, and the following Microsoft® programs: Word®, Excel®, Internet Explorer® and/or Outlook®.
 
              - Ensure you are logged on to your computer with local Administrative rights.
 
              - Double-click the ACT! Update file. The Unpacking ACT! progress indicator briefly appears. 
 
           
             
           
          Followed by the ACT by Sage 2008 (10.0) upgrade dialog box. 
               
               
                 
               
              - Click Yes on the dialog box and the following InstallShield - Preparing to Install wizard progress indicator appears:
 
               
               
                 
               
              - Once the preparing process is complete, the InstallShield Wizard - Welcome dialog box appears.
 
               
               
                 
               
              - Click Next. The License Agreement dialog box appears. Read the License Agreement and select I accept the terms and conditions as stated above and click Next.
 
               
               
                 
               
              - The InstallShield Wizard - Setup Status progress indicator appears.
 
               
               
                 
               
              - When the Setup is complete and the Installation has been finalized, the following InstallShield Wizard - InstallShield Wizard Complete dialog box appears.
 
               
               
                 
               
              - Click Finish to finalize the installation.
