My Installed Version:
Use the following steps to determine your installed version of ACT!:
  1. Launch ACT!
  2. Click Help menu, and then select About ACT!.




  3. The About ACT! dialog box appears. The version number appears near the top of this box.

Download the ACT! Update:
  1. Click the following link to access the downloads area of the act.com website.
  2. Enter your user information and click Log In. If you have not created an account, please create your account to continue.
  3. Scroll down to the Latest Updates area and located the correct update for your installed version of ACT!.
  4. Click on English and then click Download Now.
  5. The File Download - Security Warning dialog box appears.




  6. Click Save. The Save As dialog box appears. Browse to your desktop, then click Save.
Applying the Service Pack 1:
  1. Close ACT!, and the following Microsoft® programs: Word®, Excel®, Internet Explorer® and/or Outlook®.
  2. Ensure you are logged on to your computer with local Administrative rights.
  3. Double-click the ACT! Update file. The Unpacking ACT! progress indicator briefly appears.



    Followed by the ACT by Sage 2008 (10.0) upgrade dialog box.




  4. Click Yes on the dialog box and the following InstallShield - Preparing to Install wizard progress indicator appears:




  5. Once the preparing process is complete, the InstallShield Wizard - Welcome dialog box appears.




  6. Click Next. The License Agreement dialog box appears. Read the License Agreement and select I accept the terms and conditions as stated above and click Next.




  7. The InstallShield Wizard - Setup Status progress indicator appears.




  8. When the Setup is complete and the Installation has been finalized, the following InstallShield Wizard - InstallShield Wizard Complete dialog box appears.




  9. Click Finish to finalize the installation.
