You would like to know how to apply the ACT!901Hotfix.exe (Hotfix 1).

My Installed Version:

Use the following steps to determine your installed version of ACT!:

1. Launch ACT!
2. Click the Help menu, and then click About ACT!.



3. The About ACT! dialog box appears. The version number appears near the top of this box.


Download the ACT!901HotFix.exe File (
Hotfix 1):

1. Right-click the ACT!901HotFix.exe file below, and then click Save Target As. A Save As dialog box appears.

2. Browse to your desktop, and then click Save.


Applying the
Hotfix:

1. Ensure you have the latest version of ACT!. Please refer to the following Knowledge Base Answer:

2. Close ACT!, and the following Microsoft® programs: Word®, Excel®, Internet Explorer® and/or Outlook®.
3. Ensure you are logged on to your computer with local Administrative rights.
4. Double-click the ACT!901HotFix.exe file. The Unpacking ACT! progress indicator briefly appears. The following Disclaimer dialog box appears.



5. Review the disclaimer, and then click OK.
6. The installer verifies your Windows rights and ensures that no open programs will conflict with the Hotfix installation. If any of these conditions exist the appropriate message will appear. Please follow the on screen instructions.
7. The Command window appears while the Hotfix is being installed.
8. When finished the Hotfix Completed dialog box appears.
9. Click Finish to complete the installation.

Issues Resolved When Hotfix is Applied:
The following issues will be resolved after applying the ACT!901HotFix.exe (
